The Legend of the Thistle
The prickly purple thistle was the emblem of Scotland during the reign of Alexander III (1249 - 1286). Legend has it that the Army of King Haakon of Norway was intent on conquering the Scots and landed on the coast of Largs at night to surprise the sleeping Scottish Clansmen. To move more quietly in the night, the Norse removed their footwear. As they drew near the Scots, they weren't the only thing hiding in the cover of darkness. The Norsemen stepped on one of those prickly purple defenders and let out a yelp in pain, alerting the clansmen. The Scots quickly awoke and were ready to fight! And they won, all thanks to our thistle. So now the thistle is the National Emblem of Scotland. The thistle - the great protector of Scotland!
Our Theodore Thistle has all kinds of great stories to share. After all, it is the great protector, and our happy mascot. Theodore Thistle is a lot like one of the most important things that protects you and your vehicle - the auto glass. The Scots protect the thistle and honor it as their emblem because it protected them. Doesn't your auto glass deserve the same? After all, the auto glass protects you, you should protect it! Are you protected? Do you need the thistle?

Stop Winnie’s abuse NOW!
Essay by Theodore A. Thistle,
My story today is short (like me!) and almost ranting. You know I’m Winnie Windshield’s very best friend and it makes me sad to see her abused all the time on the road. As I was traveling down life’s road, I was looking out her transparent view of the world and thinking about her sad life. She really is an abused lady! Everyday she protects you and me from what the road and even other cars throw at us. Winnie is hit on by rocks and salt. She is pooped on by birds, rained on, hailed on, snowed on, scraped, buffed, polished, scratched, wiped. Winnie, and other windshields just like her, sacrifice themselves for our comfort everyday! And, after all that, what thanks does she get? Nothing. Maybe a wash here and again, but nothing. She’s out there on her own, without any sort of protection. I mean, she protects us from all those rocks, debris, and that awful weather.
This is why I feel she should be protected! She needs a life insurance policy of sorts.
Please! Stop windshield abuse today! Make sure Winnie and all her friends are protected… because the hits just keep on coming.

Oh Teddy, your kind post just makes all that cold ice melt right off of me! You don’t even know that half of it! I have all kinds of stories of abuse that I can tell you about in the coming weeks. Most recently I was hit by what almost became our national bird – the turkey. I’m going along thinking about which set of polish I should get for my trim then BAM! Feathers everywhere!
Now listen, I’ve been rained on (I like warm rain don’t you?), spat on, pooped on, and just plain hit on everyday (you know how it is girls) but I’ve never had anything like this happen.

Introduction of Winnie Windshield and Auggie Autoglass
Winnie Windshield - She is woman that knows exactly what she wants and is transparent as the day is long. She is stylish, yet curvy, because she knows there are thousands of her friends out there on the road every day looking at her.
Auggie Autoglass - He is rough around the edges, strong, and takes hits all day long on life's travels along the road. But he is a realist and sees the world as he wants. Auggie has hard curves and a slight tint to keep the glare down.
So buckle your seatbelts folks. We are going for a ride around America looking out from Winnie and Auggie. Oh did I forget to mention Theodore Thistle? Why, he is their sidekick with all the jokes and comedy to lighten our day.
